I learned how to cross stitch when I was a teenager. Since then I had only ever finished one cross stitch project (a Christmas stocking) out of all the projects I have begun at one point or another. This year however, I have finished 2 pieces and my mom had them both professionally framed. Love, love, love how they turned out. I don't mean to boast but I am so proud of myself for finishing them. It's really rather very exciting seeing them framed and finished. They go on the wall today. The butterfly one is the first piece I finished and it is for my living room wall. The second piece, the one with the roses was a piece I finished and gave to my mom for Mother's Day. It will be going on her living room wall today.
